    18th Birthday Collage

Here is a picture of the collage that I made for my Sister's 18th Birthday. The squares represent the things that she likes at this point in her life. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. I mounted this in a Shadow Frame as I added some 3D flowers in one corner on the Very Vanilla Card Stock.

I mounted an 8x8 piece of Basic Black card stock onto a 12x12 piece of Very Vanilla. The insert squares measure 2x2. I used My Digital Studio (MDS2) and the internet for some of the elements (picture of Taylor Swift, letter "A" and the school collage square). The picture of the Collie was one of my Mother's dogs.

    Recipe:

"A" square:  Chevron Embossing Folder #127749, Postage Stamp Punch #122344,  MDS Software, Old Olive & Very Vanilla Cardstock

Eiffel Tower square: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder #117335, En Francais Background Stamp #128562, 3/16" Corner Punch #119871, MDS2 Software, Melon Mambo & Very Vanilla Cardstock

School square: Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976, Wisteria Wonder & Vary Vanilla Cardstock

Dress: Dress Up FrameLits # 130101, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder #127751, Tea Lace Paper Doilies #129399, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Basic Black, Rhinestone Basic Jewels #119246, Melon Mambo & Whisper White Cardstock

Taylor Swift square: Music Notes Wheel Stamp #120327, Very Vanilla Cardstock

"18" square: Adorning Accents Embossing Folders #125601, Silver Glimmer Paper #124005, Melon Mambo Cardstock

What people are saying about Stampin' Up!'s NEW ONLINE CLASS...
"I knew that as an experienced stamper the technique instructions would probably be below my skill level (*smile*), but I also thought that I am always interested in picking up new tips and tricks that maybe I didn't know about (or had forgotten). I also thought that the projects would more than likely be quick and easy to do (which I love), but still have that classy SU! flair....I wasn't disappointed on that! I found 3 or 4 cards right away that I can't wait to get into my stamp studio and CASE! So at this point I would have to say that this class would be a gold mine for new stampers, and that there is still plenty to get this "old" stamper excited too!! ;-) I also feel that the content is well worth the price!" - from June F

When you have collected 50 clues then leave a comment on this post and send me an email to: stampwithlaur@gmail.com and put Treasure Hunt in the subject line, listing the clue & blog where they were found. I will put all correct entries into a draw to be held October 31, 2012.
